Do you know what makes a CV outstanding? Are you confident that your CV will catch the attention of a hiring manager? Far from being a mere list of one’s qualifications, skills and experience, a CV is also an important sales pitch. As the first connection with your potential future employer, your CV is crucial for making a good first impression, and could make or break your chances of landing your dream job.
A good CV is one that is highly customized for its specific application. Yet too often, job applicants submit a generic CV that does not necessarily portray them in the best light. Come learn from our trainers on how to create a targeted CV that stands out from the crowd and highlights your best attributes. Learn to identify the common mistakes and pitfalls. Hear from our trainers what should be included – and excluded from – your CVs, and how to emphasize qualities and experiences that your potential future employer values.
This clinic will be capped at 25 participants (5 per trainer), to ensure a small and engaging session with the trainers. Successful registrants will be notified ahead of time, and will need to submit their CVs 2 weeks before the clinic. The participants will then be grouped together, based on similar tracks, to facilitate discussion. Through this highly interactive session, participants can expect to receive personalized feedback on their own CVs, and learn how to best present themselves to land their dream jobs.
