Edward Kai-Hua Chow is an Associate Professor and Principal Investigator at National University of Singapore (NUS) in the Cancer Science Institute of Singapore and Research Director for the Department of Pharmacology. He received his B.A. in Molecular and Cellular Biology from the UC Berkeley and his Ph.D. at UCLA. Prior to joining NUS, Dr. Chow was a Postdoctoral Fellow under the guidance of Prof. J. Michael Bishop (1989 Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine) at UCSF. His research group is interested in understanding how specific genomic alterations affect cancer progression and how this information can be applied towards engineering-based approaches to improve cancer therapy through combinatorial drug design and nanotechnology-based drug delivery and imaging applications.
